I recently spent two nights at Jagdschloss Waldsee with my wife and our dog, and we found it to be a delightful stopover during our longer car trip. Nestled deep in the forest, this hotel offers a unique family-friendly atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for families seeking outdoor adventures. We were pleased to find that the location is ideal for hiking and cycling, and we began a whole-day hike directly from the hotel. The bike rental service was a great convenience, allowing us to explore the serene surroundings at our own pace. For our stay, we opted for a forest-view room, which was comfortable and equipped with essential amenities. While breakfast was satisfactory, I appreciated the enjoyable dinner at the restaurant, where the staff was welcoming and attentive. One small note: during our visit, there was a wedding that caused some noise late at night. This did not overshadow our overall experience. We would love to return for another family getaway.
